Made of solid mixed woods the chest is fitted with narrow long drawers and has decorative hand forged metal ware and handles. The top is fitted with a lift up lid and one of the drawers has a hidden mechanism which locks it closed. A rare piece, not often found with a carrying stand. Superbly aged patina. This is a companion novel to “Miss Quinces” So I had high hopes for enjoying this graphic novel by Kat Fajardo. Those hopes were thankfully met as I really enjoyed my time reading. So much so I binged this book in one day, which is hard to do with an infant. It’s making me want to reread “Miss Quinces” so I can stay in Suyapa’s world a little longer.
