I like that it detects temperature and determines what fan speed it should be on to control temperature in the room. Its made a notable difference in my warmest room of the house this summer. Its nice and quiet. You can also adjust the blades up or down if you want to redirect the air flow much like in a vehicle. Also it is a very good value for the cost. It is not silent, but it is not loud at all. The fan is very sturdy and easy to assemble. The only assembly is a giant plastic nut on the bottom that holds the stand in place. IMO if you choose this fan, you will not be disappointed.
