The canteen was manufactured in 1918 by Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The canvas cover's manufacturer's marking is quite faint; however, we can just make out a "L D Inc." stamping, which denotes production by Liberty Durgin Incorporated of Haverhill, Massachusetts.
