We date the map no earlier than 1927 and no later than 1952 by reference to the ski lifts marked on the map. The funicular railway (opened in 1913) connecting Engelberg to Gerschni is shown, as is the cable car onwards to Ober Trebsee (opening 1927). However, the Brunni Bahn cableway from Engelberg to Ristis (opened 1952) is not shown,
