These surge protectors are rated some of the best you can get, so I have been purchasing them for many years. Even though their shell is made of plastic, I've had excellent luck with them over the years without any problems. Recently, one of them had the green light stop working intermittently. I emailed APC and got a replacement without a bunch of hassle. I simply sent them the serial number on the current one and they sent a replacement. It's been a long time since I've experienced this kind of customer support from anywhere.
